Capolivo

An olive oil with a personality

Capolivo is a company run by the Capoani family, traditional entrepreneurs who always strive for the quality of their products. After decades in the industrial sector, the family has diversified its business and now also operates in agribusiness, through pine reforestation and cattle raising. Always in search of new challenges and a dream, the Capoani family went to Italy, their native land, to find inspiration for the cultivation and production of extra virgin olive oil. Thus, a Capolivo was born.

Capolivo produces olives on the olive cultivars of the Fazenda Tarumã da Boa Vista in Canguçu, Rio Grande do Sul, on a current area of 100 hectares, which is still expanding.

The climate of the region, combined with the relief and the type of soil, constitutes an excellent terroir for the development of olive trees, which brings the quality of Capolivo extra virgin olive oil to a product of excellence.

From quality plants and technical assistance provided by Tecnoplanta, noble varieties are cultivated such as the Greek Koroneiki, the Spanish Arbequina, Arbosana and Picual, the Italian Frantoio, in addition to Ascolana, Manzanilla and Coratina.

The Tarumã da Boa Vista farm covers an area of 4,100 hectares. Besides the olive grove area, 3,000 hectares are occupied by pine trees and a legal reserve area.
