Our product is a result of  a knowledge passed through generations for over 2.000 years. The idea for a name comes from Greek mythology, which tells the story how the goddess Athena presented people with a gift of an olive tree. Ancient Greeks used ceramic amphorae to store olive oil, so we decided to use ceramic bottles for storage of our olive oil as well, which serve as an excellent insulator from any outside effects. We are Magdalena and Ljupče, the owners of the Plenković family farm with olive groves that our family has cultivated for generations. We've initially started olive cultivations as a kind of hobby, because we wanted our children to stay in nature as much as possible. As we are all busy during weekdays, our family weekends are usually spent in our olive groves. It is our wish to combine our authentic product - olive oil - with the history, culture and the Mediterranean diet and present it as a luxurious souvenir. A large part of our olive groves is located at the Stari Grad Field, which is under UNESCO protection. It is the oldest preserved Greek land register in Europe, Bearing witness to the tradition and the culture dedicated to olive growing and winemaking in these parts.
